Oceans Apart Catering Confirmation Policy

  • What we provide for your catering event
    Chafing dishes, warmers, cold holding containers and serving utensils. Serving tables for the food that is provided.

    Disposable plates, flatware and napkins. Drop Off Option only includes items delivered in foil pans only!
    No serving utensils, plates, flatware, napkins, warmers, cold holding containers and tables!

    • In the event there is left over food, it can only be left if there is suitable refrigeration. You will need to provide your own containers. Remember! Leftovers will not be left without the proper containers and refrigeration.
    You the host shall provide all trash disposal service for your event.

  • Confirmation: All events require a signed confirmation policy. The policy summarizes your bill information, menu selection, guest count, and any other special request that is agreed upon by both parties. A signed confirmation policy is a legal binding contract. It guarantees our service on your event date. No event is guaranteed without a signed catering policy and deposit.
  • Guest Count: A confirmed guest count is needed 10 days before the event date. It is very important to have an accurate guest count in order to ensure an adequate amount of food is prepared. Oceans Apart Catering wants no one to leave hungry and will work with you very closely to make sure that this does not happen.
  • Deposit: Your event will require a 50% deposit to secure your event date. All cancellations made will be charged a minimum of 20% of deposit. Cancellations made 90 days before the event will be charged 40%. 89 to 60 days 60%. No refund less than 60 day notice.
  • Location Fees: Depending on your location of your event a location fee may be applied. This location fee is based on mileage and time and will be reflected on your confirmation email accordingly. Fianl Payment is due on event date.

  • Final payment is due the day of the event.

  • This catering policy confirmation must be signed and returned to
